Probably thinking of the M as it is close to Southpoint...sportsbook at the M is terrible, but the rooms are nice...the M is the home of the Raiders and will be opening a Raider's themed bar/restaurant
Fav old Vegas spot for Italian food = Bootleggers (near south outlet mall and Southpoint)
Breakfast = Peppermill (on the strip)
Mid-range steak dinner = Cornerstone at Gold Coast...Happy Hour starting at 4pm is excellent
Dim Sum = Ping Pang Pong at Gold Coast
High end steak dinner = Golden Steer (near Circus Circus...also steak house in Circus Circus is very good)
Buffet = Caesar's
Ribs = Ellis Island
Off strip sportsbooks = any Stations casino besides Palms (you can actually get a free drink in those sportsbooks)
Happy Hour = Zenshin at South Point (sushi plus other options)
Don't stay at MGM properties which will charge you for parking
Pizza = Pizza Rock at Green Valley Ranch and other locations
Christmas Lights = Ethel M Chocolate Factory (Henderson)
Book: Westgate vip box
Food: Peppermill not for the food, but the nostalgic ambience.
Dinner: Via Brasil Steakhouse. 21 JUICY meats. One of most underrated restaurants I've ever been to and I'm a world traveler.
Palace Station- Oyster Bar for sure
Westgate Sportsbook is the best around.. couple of good restaurants in there too.. Edge and Fresco Italiano
if you're shopping for futures , the Circa is a must ...in general best odds around.. while the Casino is being built , the book is at the Golden Gate.
Westgate sport's book. I usually stay there when I go now too, just so I don't have to drive around. Luxor was my spot back in the 90's 00's, but once I moved to Reno, I've only been to Vegas 4 times.
Don't know the name of either place.. but if you go west about a mile from Palace Station. There's a place on the right about a mile down the road. Think its a orange building.. authentic....
